JRZ Suspension - Porsche 911 GT3 (991, 2012-2019)

JRZ SUSPENSION - PORSCHE 911 GT3 (991, 2012-2019)

Six JRZ sets for the 991 GT3, from the two-way RS Pro to the active PROactive. Pick the set and the car here. Spring rates and upgrades are chosen with you after you order.

WHAT'S THE BEST CHOICE FOR ME?

The right set depends on how you use the car.

  • RS Pro - for the car that sees real street miles and real track time. Two adjustments, rebound and compression.
  • RS Pro 3 - the same use, with low speed compression added to tune balance and settle small bumps on the street.
  • 11 Series - for racing in a class that allows two adjustments.
  • 12 Series - a three-way on the Motorsport shaft.
  • PROactive - damping that adjusts itself as you drive. Talk to us first and we will tell you whether DPi or Standalone fits your car.

Every set starts with a conversation. Call or text and we will help you choose.

JRZ RS PRO

$8,420

The RS Pro is the original JRZ two-way. Rebound adjusts on the shaft and compression adjusts on a remote reservoir. It's built for the car that sees real street miles and real track time.

Everything in a JRZ starts with compression. The blow-off valve is a precision ground washer held shut by spring preload, and that preload is what the compression knob sets. It holds a lot of low speed control, then opens and lets oil flow freely when the wheel takes a hit. Low speed is what controls the chassis. Bumps are what upset the tire. Handled separately, the car stays settled while curbs and broken pavement pass underneath.

The reservoir keeps gas and oil apart and gives the compression valve room to work, so the damper stays consistent through a long session. The free flowing main piston is linear - the faster it moves, the more it resists - so rebound control is built in without harshness.

  • Two-way - rebound and compression, adjusted independently
  • 21 rebound clicks, 14 compression clicks
  • Remote reservoir, adjustable gas pressure
  • Blow-off compression valve, linear main piston
  • Ride height adjustable
  • Rebuildable and revalvable

JRZ RS PRO 3

$9,490

The RS Pro 3 is the original JRZ three-way: the RS Pro with a low speed compression adjustment added on the reservoir.

The low speed adjuster is a bleed around the blow-off valve. Letting some oil past before the valve opens changes the suspension speed where it opens. That is chassis control and balance, the core of tuning a car for handling.

It matters on the street too. A lot of road bumps aren't tall enough to open the compression valve. They energize the tire or soak up valve preload, and the car picks up a wavy feel. The bleed lets those small movements through and the ride settles down.

A third knob sounds like a lot. It isn't. Leave low speed in the middle, work with rebound and high speed first, and bring low speed in when you're ready.

  • Three-way - rebound, high speed compression, low speed compression
  • Same core as the RS Pro: remote reservoir, blow-off valve, linear main piston
  • Low speed bleed - balance at the track, a smoother small-bump ride on the street
  • Ride height and gas pressure adjustable
  • Rebuildable and revalvable

JRZ 11 SERIES

$9,880

The 11 Series is the JRZ Motorsport two-way. It has the same blow-off compression philosophy as the RS line, with a wider adjustment range and closer side to side matching.

The difference is the shaft. The Motorsport shaft is a two-piece assembly, which allows tighter fits between the adjusting parts and more accurate adjustment. A check valve makes the shaft adjustment rebound only, so compression on the piston side stays under control. Compression is set by one high speed blow-off adjuster on the reservoir.

This is the set for a car running a rulebook that allows two adjustments, where each one has to count. It also has somewhere to go. You can add 25mm shafts and the FA3030 piston. The 50 DA shaft adds isolated compression adjustment at the shaft and makes it a three-way.

  • Two-way - rebound on the shaft, high speed compression on the reservoir
  • Two-piece Motorsport shaft with rebound check valve
  • 22mm shaft standard, 25mm available
  • Upgrade path to the 50 DA
  • Valving built to order, rebuildable and revalvable

JRZ 12 SERIES

$12,280

The 12 Series is the JRZ Motorsport three-way. It's the 11 Series with a low speed bypass added next to the high speed blow-off on the reservoir. Choose it when you want a predictable, easy to use three-way with the full Motorsport shaft underneath.

The bypass sets the speed where the blow-off opens, which covers chassis balance and weight transfer. The blow-off sets how much the damper holds before it lets go on a bump. Two knobs, two jobs, and they don't fight each other.

Upgrade paths match the 11. One honest note: a 50 DA shaft makes the 12 a four-way, and in most cases three compression adjustments is more than a car needs. If you're headed there, an 11 with a 50 DA is usually the better three-way. We'll tell you which fits.

  • Three-way - rebound on the shaft, high and low speed compression on the reservoir
  • Two-piece Motorsport shaft with rebound check valve
  • 22mm shaft standard, 25mm available
  • Valving built to order, rebuildable and revalvable

JRZ PROACTIVE STANDALONE

$12,735

PROactive is JRZ's active damper. A patented, electronically driven valve and a control unit with its own acceleration and gyro sensing adjust damping continuously as the road and the car change. You pick the character from an app or an in-cabin selector, and the system does the rest.

Standalone means the system runs on its own: dampers, control unit, wiring harness, Bluetooth module and app. It does not depend on factory electronic dampers. The 991 GT3 has PASM from the factory, so talk to us before ordering Standalone - we will tell you whether Standalone or DPi is the right version for your car.

Underneath it is still JRZ - the same philosophy that starts with compression and control of the unsprung mass, with the valve driven electronically instead of by spring preload.

  • Continuously adjusting, no knobs
  • Control unit with 1000Hz control frequency, 3-axis acceleration and gyro sensing
  • Modes from the app or a cabin selector
  • Control unit mounting and wiring are part of the install - we walk your installer through it

JRZ PROACTIVE DPi (PASM)

$10,290

PROactive DPi is the plug-in version for cars that came with electronic dampers from the factory. It uses the car's own PASM connectors, so there is no separate control unit to mount and no harness to run. JRZ lists the Porsche 991 as compatible, 991.2 included.

The damper hardware and the patented valve are the same as PROactive Standalone. The difference is who is in charge: DPi works with the car's electronics instead of replacing them.

  • Plugs into the factory PASM connectors
  • Same electronically driven JRZ valve as PROactive Standalone
  • Porsche 991 compatibility confirmed by JRZ

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Four dampers, valved for your car
  • Springs, with rates chosen for how you use the car
  • JRZ front and rear top mounts
  • Front quick disconnects
  • Baseline settings from 057

YOUR USE AND OPTIONS

The price on this page is the set as selected above. Spring rates and upgrades - 25mm shafts, the FA3030 piston, low-friction coating, the 50 DA shaft - are chosen with you, not in the cart. After you order we'll call to confirm how you drive the car and which options make sense, and we quote any options before anything is ordered from JRZ.

We recommend rear quick disconnects on every set, $595 per pair.

Lead time is typically 3 to 6 weeks.

WHY BUY FROM 057

We have worked with JRZ for more than 15 years, from the engineering group to the production floor. Every set we sell starts with a conversation about your car and how you use it. It ships with baseline settings and spring rates for that use, not a generic sheet.

When the setup needs a change, we're here to make that adjustment with you. Call or text. Rebuilds, revalves and dyno work are done in-house in Frankfort, Illinois.
